Kerstin’s 2015 Winter & Spring Photo Recap

Wow! I am way past due on my recaps. I thought I had the timing under control when I consistently published my Summer 2014 and Fall 2014. But, then somehow we ended up here, well past the middle of 2015, and I still hadn’t written a recap. Luckily, throughout the last six months, I wrote about a few things happening in our lives so I’ve just included links with some other shares below.

Usually, from January until late spring, we stick around our house. We are always on the go and travel quite often. So, I’m trying to embrace this time of year as a time when I get EXTRA family time. Here’s a peek into our 2015 Winter and Spring. Enjoy!

Skiing with N

We put N on skis for the first time and he LOVED it. So did we. It was so fun to be on the mountain all together while Seano did ski patrol. You can read more about it here.

N Potty Trained

To our surprise, N decided he was ready to use the potty in January. We followed his lead and within days he was consistent. It took about 6 weeks for it to totally click but once it did, it was smooth sailing. Chelse and I are working on a video sharing our potty training stories, so keep a look out. (I actually do have photos of this but didn’t think my future 15-year-old son would appreciate photos of himself on the pot.)

Build Your Blog Conference

In February, Chelse and I headed to Salt Lake for the Build Your Blog Conference. We had an awesome trip, learned tons, and enjoyed some much needed girlfriend time.

Brew Crew Weekend

In March, I headed to California to meet my college girlfriends for our annual trip. I wrote about our amazing time in California here.

Ranch Fun

Seano grew up spending many days on his family’s ranch. Those memories include riding and being around horses. About 10 years ago, the family sold their livestock. Seano often mentions that he’s bummed N won’t have any similar memories. So, he and his Grandad bought a calm, mature horse. This day at the ranch we met Bojangles.

Easter always brings lots of fun traditions in our house like dying Easter eggs, making Easter cookies, finding Easter baskets, and the usual church and dinner festivities. This year was no different.

Nana’s Birthday

Both my mom and Seano’s mom’s birthdays are in April. We weren’t able to be with my mom for her birthday this year. But, we hosted a brunch for Seano’s mom and had a wonderful morning that including everyone passing this lovely hat around. (We promised we wouldn’t show photos of anyone else in it besides N.)

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day was a beautiful combination of spending time with my little man and hubby and getting a little momma time. This is my favorite photo from the day.

California Trip

As I talked about here, we had an awesome trip visiting family in California. Living over half of my early life in California, I love going back and have deep ties to many places and people. I will always love my visits back.

Baby Shower

We had an awesome Sprinkle in honor of Chelse and Baby B in June. I am a firm believer that if there is a baby coming into the world, no matter if it is your 1st, 2nd, 6th, or 15th, you should be celebrating! So we did! Check out more details here.

Lake Day

One of my very favorite places to spend time during the summer is the lake about 30 minutes from our home. We have made it out there three times this summer and I have loved every minute.

Since I’ve learned it’s difficult for me to get these done four times a year with all of the other info I want to share, I’m thinking I’m going to combine winter/spring and summer/fall recaps. Hope you enjoyed this little recap of our life during the first half of 2015! Have a great rest of your summer!
