Hey all! We celebrated the third anniversary of the Jelly Bean Journals blog back in January. That’s more than 225 posts! In all of this time, I’ve never recapped my favorite posts. We are so excited to share that Jelly Bean Journals, Prairie Wife in Heels, and The Tall Mom are teaming up to bring you some special September posts on our blogs. We will all be writing for each other, as well as ourselves, on a topic relevant to our regular content. Here’s what you can find during the month of September:
- Jelly Bean Journals – What Does Being A Mom Mean To You?
- Prairie Wife in Heels – When Did You Feel Strong As A Woman?
- The Tall Mom – What Makes A Woman Be(You)tiful?
We hope you are ready for another powerful perspective on what being a mom means, because The Tall Mom has shared her sentiments and she will leave you in a swirl of emotions…
As promised, we have officially launched our third series, “Mommy Juice!” Our very first series, “Happy, Healthy & Loved. Stop the Mommy Wars!” was followed by “From the Mouths of Mommas” and both were a huge hit here on Jelly Bean Journals!

We have a deep love for mocktails, as well, so this series is sure to have something for everyone. After all, we absolutely love enjoying a favorite drink with a great friend. So, here’s to you, girl! Cheers! Continue reading
We are surrounded by incredible women and it’s a special treat when we get to share them with you. Many of you already know the awesomeness of the The Tall Mom, one of our favorite blogs. If you are a fan of that blog, the book Seeing Ione, or Jansen Curry, the fabulous creator of both, you are going to love today’s post!

I have also included a bonus Seeing Ione question for those of you who have already fallen in love with the story! Continue reading

While we are really enjoying writing and sharing content with our community, there is tons to learn about blogging as a business, growing our blog, monetizing, photography and video. To say I was intimidated going into the conference was a pretty big understatement. Continue reading
